Registration

Steps for registration after acceptance through TMP lottery are:

• Fill out and return TMP Registration Form and Home Language Survey forms below.  When completed forms are turned in, please also bring birth certificate, immunization records, transcripts and report cards. These are required for registration to be complete.

• Go online to SFCC website www.sfcc.edu. The online application tab is in the upper left hand corner of the menu bar “Apply Now”. Complete the SFCC online application for college credit courses.  Do not check or click “continuing education courses”.

• Upon completion of the online application, a letter will be generated to the student with his/her SFCC student ID Number (referred to as an “A” number). 

•  Once the student has his/her SFCC A#, the student then needs to take the SFCC Accuplacer test in the testing center at SFCC. The Accuplacer test is a test for Reading, English and Math. The tests take approximately 2 hrs (it is not a timed test).  Testing Center Hours are Mon-Thur 8:00am – 7:00pm and Fri 8:00am – 5:00pm

• Getting an A# and taking the Accuplacer test as soon as possible will allow us to register students for SFCC classes while there is plenty of room. Late registration means classes may be full.

• The tests results are given to the student when the test is completed.  The student should bring these Accuplacer test results to the TMP office upon completion of test (or the next day if the student finishes after 5:00pm). Test results determine college class placement.

• When all completed registration forms, documents (birth certificate, immunization forms and transcript/report cards) and Accuplacer results are turned in to the Admissions Coordinator, Debbie Breland, then we will schedule a meeting with our Head of School, Anne Salzmann, or our Director of Guidance, Lori Miller, to plan for classes.
